Tight Loops

Tight Loops

In the summer of 2015, filmmakers Aimee Savard and Chase Bartee packed up their belongings, moved into their 1985 Volkswagen Westfalia, and left their home in Massachusetts. The goal? To make their way to Montana, and spend as much time as humanly possible exploring, fly fishing, and documenting their travels. Living in an eighty square foot van would pose its challenges. But the lessons learned and experiences gained over the next three and a half months would set events into motion that would change their lives forever.

Directed / Shot / Cut / Mixed / & Colored by Chase Bartee

The Event of a Thread

The Event of a Thread

I've never been to an exhibit like Ann Hamiltons: the event of a thread before that had inspired me to no end. So one day I brought my parents and a camera and documented my experience.

Music / Sufjan Stevens - Redford ( for Yia -Yia and Pappou) http://pauloctavious.com

Interactive Light Installation

Interactive Light Installation

ENESS bring home a playful new work, exploring worldy forces and objects at play in the familiar childhood seesaw. Climb on and watch how a Pingpong ball might bounce on the moon, or how a balloon might wade through yogurt. Choose the atmosphere surrounding your object- air, water, space and even yogurt and observe the ball of light as it hurls your way. Our seesaw is equipped with a physics engine and thirty three rows of light that respond to your tilt whilst you saw through the air.

Connecting

The 18 minute "Connecting" documentary is an exploration of the future of Interaction Design and User Experience from some of the industry's thought leaders. As the role of software is catapulting forward, Interaction Design is seen to be not only increasing in importance dramatically, but also expected to play a leading role in shaping the coming "Internet of things." Ultimately, when the digital and physical worlds become one, humans along with technology are potentially on the path to becoming a "super organism" capable of influencing and enabling a broad spectrum of new behaviors in the world.
